KDB, like most of our players, has had a terrible season. That's not the same as being "shot to bits", there's been glimpses of his brilliance. Yes, he's lost his pace a bit but his game was never reliant on that and he has at least one, maybe two, seasons as a world-class player left
Stones hard to say
Disagree re kdb. He's always been injury prone and that's getting worse. Also I would argue powerful bursts forward were actually part of his game. You can see moments of quality but I think it's time to let go. He's given us ten years and he's on the decline.
If he's willing to accept a bench spot then fine, but part of our current predicament is hanging on to players past their prime and them having a prominent role in the team. If he wasn't already injury prone I'd be more in favour, but he was available less than half a season last year and it's looking that way this year.
