L O Mate,
Arrived yesterday, my stepdaughter phoned about tickets yesterday afternoon, around an hour ago there was a knock on the door to our hotel room, tickets arrived! Cash only, local currency but I've got four tickets 580RMB each.

I wouldn't go to the bird's nest yet, there's nothing happening there.

If you want help sorting the tickets out we'll be in Paddy O'Shea's later (met another Blue in there last night :) ) PM me, I'll be on line.

Alright lads my band Exile Parade are touring China while city are there and we’re doing an official Manchester City gig in conjunction with Umbro on the Thursday night in Beijing. We’re from Warrington and me and my bro have had season tickets for 20 years so we’re a proper city band – be good to see some blues down at the front!!! If anyone is in shanghai we’re also headlining Zebra festival on the beach on the Sunday beforehand – about 40,000 people there.
The Beijing gig is the Umbro Rock 'n' Ball at Starlive.
Our album is produced by Owen Morris (Oasis etc) and if you want to know what we sound like here’s a song for city...

As previously posted, <a class="postlink" href="http://www.theatrebeijing.com/live_music_venues/star_live_music_hall" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.theatrebeijing.com/live_musi ... music_hall</a>

We're going to take a look tonight, it's only one stop away from Dongzheimen on the subway.

Found the place, looks OK from the outside but the staff told us it was closed tonight, have to wait and see what it's like inside.

Have we decided on the meet up, is it Paddy's, The Den, Stumbles, or Poacher's?

Kick off is 8pm according to the tickets, but 3pm according to City (though they have removed it now)

Hi Squirty, it's looking like 8pm kick off, I'm easy with the venue, even though Paddy's is a 30 second walk for me. As I posted earlier, Karl is offering 20% discounts to anyone wearing our colours on 26th, 27th and 28th. Going to take a look at Sanlitun tomorrow evening.
