The thing is with this "knock them off their perch" quote from the Govan PC is that he says he said it ... but no one remembers it at the time he allegedly said it. It was never in the news till years later, and then it became Gospel because he claimed it to be so. I don't believe a word of it, and its just another example of how the press pander to the creation on the rag story.
