Can any Blues suggest a decent boozer to watch the Huddersfield replay on TV. I'm working away in Belfast and I don't know the pubs there.
Mate, I was over there in September for a weekend with the missus. I watched the Swansea away game in a pub called Laverys on Bradbury Place. About 5 to 10 min walk south from the centre
It was recommended to me by someone off here and it was spot on
Big boozer with a couple of rooms showing different matches. It will definitely be on in there
The Botanic's a good one too. Loads of screens and generally full of jack and Danny as well. It's known as the Bot locally. It's 10 years since I've been though so yer mans place might be a better bet
The Garrick on Chichester Street is good for watching football - about 2 minutes walk down from the city hall.
Just googled it, looks great cheersIf you are staying in central Belfast then any of the bars mentioned above plus The Crown and also Robinsons are great craic. If you both like a steak then you really must try Stix & Stones (have facebook page) in Upper Queen Street, very close to City Hall.
Lavery's is deffo the best spot to go to. If you need company give me a shout and I would be more than happy to go in and watch also.
One of my favourite pubs in the Bristish Isles. Not for football, but is THE CROWN BAR still going?....great spot....so it is.
*Pusher ALERT*Lavery's is deffo the best spot to go to. If you need company give me a shout and I would be more than happy to go in and watch also.
Might be an idea to see if either of the two Belfast branches are having a "gathering", one meets (or at least used to meet) in Brantwood social club on skegoniel avenue in North Belfast and the other met in the East of the cityJust bumping this, any good pubs recommended where there might be a blue or two in for the arsenal game on Wednesday!?
