Belgian Fans (merged)

See my reply below. If you know how they got the tickets then feel free to put me right but don't tell me to fuck off.
He arranged up to 200 tickets? Sorry but I'm not having it. As telling you to fuck off was against the CoC I'll apologise.

The issue is, we've gotten to a point now where they know they're going to sell the tickets regardless. If we don't sign up for platinum, a bunch of touts will - unfortunately it all leads to the traditional fans loosing.

I don't resent new fans for wanting to go, I just resent the way the club facilitates it at the expense of people who have put in the hard yards!

I fucked it off years ago. Waste of money of you have less than 12000 points. Never catch up.

Easily a couple of hundred of them grouped together. And people wonder why it's getting harder and harder to get hold of away tickets. Seen a fair bit of hostility towards them in the concourse both before kick off and at halftime.

One nob was continually taking their half/half scarves and throwing them looking to square up to any of them that would entertain him. Then their was the same kind of thing at halftime and a bit of a scuffle that happened right behind me, one idiot throwing punches all over, didn't see who the target was but i'd put money on it being one of the Belgian lads. A few other blues then had a go at him because he was doing it right next to a little kid who nearly got in the way of him.

It's not the fault of the Belgian lads that they got hold of a ticket, yes the half/half scarves are embarrassing but they were causing no harm and wanted to sing more than most of the "hardcore" regulars (even if it was just the vinny and De Bruyne songs)

The blame and any anger should be directed towards the club for syphoning off what was easily a few hundred tickets in one area and allowing them to be sold/passed on. It happened last year at Arsenal and this year it happened on a much grander scale, how many will they take from the allocation next season?

something needs to be done about this, is there any point in the loyalty points system now ?.

No worries, the club have their man on the case....

As you apologised I'll forgive you. I'm not wumming, just passing on what I was told. How would they have got 200 tickets otherwise? Someone at the club had to be involved.
It just seems implausible to me that we'd allow so many tickets for one party. My initial response of the club holding him (Kompany) in a higher regard than some fans was tongue in cheek because I didn't think it was possible to be true.
The truth is, if it has happened then it's an awful move by the club and they're in danger of losing some of the goodwill they've done so well to build up over the last few years.

Fucking foreigners coming in her taking our jobs, our women and now our football teams. Its bad enough they make up most of the team and now they want to sit in our end and support us aswell?

Get a grip lads, Citys a global club, we have a global club, and fans worldwide.Yes its annoying that a large group of internationals fan got to go and some more seasoned local fans didnt but thats not really anyones fault. As an Irishman i hope i wont find this kind of abuse next time I get over for an away game.
