It's absolutely fantastic and makes me feel so proud of our club. A nice tonic to all the other nonsense we've had to put up with recently.

Bert was my very first football hero, a wonderful player. I can still reel off the 1956 Cup Final team as if it was yesterday. I have a signed programme from his testimonial that is a priced possession.

I saw Bert play several times and went to his testimonial at Maine Road in 1964. At the end of the game, he came over the tannoy and thanked all the people of Manchester who had been so kind to him.

It looks great and will be a good focal point at that side of stadium. But I see that city media are calling it the Holy Trinity. They were never known as that and the title has been claimed by the statue in Trafford - so just leaves us opening to accusations of plagiarism. It needs its own name and identity.

Good to see it’s getting a panning from those in Trafford, London and Ireland. The Temu Trinity they’re calling it.

Can't wait to see the statues on Sun v Spurs. By all reports the sculptor has done a good job.

Can’t believe I once so stridently predicted there would be no statues at the Etihad!

My worst prediction since I said in 2003 that ‘no-one will use the internet on their phone’.
