Bollocks noone goes on a FREE and then gets a massive pay cut? Why? Because the clubs can put forward what they were going to pay for the transfer towards the salary.
Bellamy WAS/IS a mercenary and all this hyping him like he was the Welsh Jesus has to stop. He had one "decent" season where Robinho did better was just because Bellamy showed more effort he gets hailed as the saviour.
Fuck him glad he is gone and he will flop at Liverpool and probably cause problems there too. He can now shake twitchers hand all he wants and in 100 times below Adebayor in my standing who I believe was harshly treated for no reason. Bellamy on the other hand is a ****.
This theory breaks down didactic when the selling club will do anything to get rid.
If you think Liverpool who wouldn't of given a toss if the deal did not go ahead would offer him a salary commensurate with ours when they know we were subsidising the majority of his wage while he was playing in the championship and given his age and medical condition and history you are sadly mistaken.
Not only does this set a ridiclous precendence to the likes of Kuyt , Gerrard , Reina etc and some of the players on the door step on establishing themselves in the first team on a permanent basis week in week out it makes the owners look like business half wits and alerts others to their lack of business acumen.
Liverpool will be doing well to get 30 games out of Bellamy even if he stays for the two seasons ( If he still playing next season he will be off to Cardiff ).
Next you will be saying that Blobby was on 120k in his last hurrah second time around , more than likely he was on a pay as you play and for all we know can we categorically rule out this arrangement for Bellamy at Liverpool now?
