Bellamy (Merged)

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

He was thinking that Bellamy has little to give the team, but much to take away from it whereas Hargreaves has much to add and little to take away.

I liked Bellers as a player, but I'm glad he's gone. Not good enough anymore, and high maintenance.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

I know what you mean, what with Bellamy being an integral part of the team's progress in the last 12 months...

Bollocks noone goes on a FREE and then gets a massive pay cut? Why? Because the clubs can put forward what they were going to pay for the transfer towards the salary.

Bellamy WAS/IS a mercenary and all this hyping him like he was the Welsh Jesus has to stop. He had one "decent" season where Robinho did better was just because Bellamy showed more effort he gets hailed as the saviour.

Fuck him glad he is gone and he will flop at Liverpool and probably cause problems there too. He can now shake twitchers hand all he wants and in 100 times below Adebayor in my standing who I believe was harshly treated for no reason. Bellamy on the other hand is a ****.

This theory breaks down didactic when the selling club will do anything to get rid.

If you think Liverpool who wouldn't of given a toss if the deal did not go ahead would offer him a salary commensurate with ours when they know we were subsidising the majority of his wage while he was playing in the championship and given his age and medical condition and history you are sadly mistaken.

Not only does this set a ridiclous precendence to the likes of Kuyt , Gerrard , Reina etc and some of the players on the door step on establishing themselves in the first team on a permanent basis week in week out it makes the owners look like business half wits and alerts others to their lack of business acumen.

Liverpool will be doing well to get 30 games out of Bellamy even if he stays for the two seasons ( If he still playing next season he will be off to Cardiff ).

Next you will be saying that Blobby was on 120k in his last hurrah second time around , more than likely he was on a pay as you play and for all we know can we categorically rule out this arrangement for Bellamy at Liverpool now?

But apart from an injured spell at West Ham, he plays around 30 games pretty much every season, including last season. He played in 40 games for us. Why are you so sure he can't do it now ?

He was compensated for the last year of his contract as we did not want him at the club so add what we gave him to whatever he is getting from Liverpool and you will find he is probably on more a week than he was with us. I hate the **** he did nothing but cause trouble and a semi decent season does not change the fact he is selfish hateful little man who hides behind his charity work to pretend he is not greedy. He can fuck off.

Re: Hargreaves in, Bellamy out

Strange how well thought of he was amongst the young players, considering he's such a troublemaker. Also strange that Liverpool want to sign him again, as the staff there, including Dalglish, were mostly involved when he was there last time, yet even though he's such a ****, they signed him again.

It's almost enough to make someone think you've got no fucking idea what you're talking about & are just someone who hates Craig Bellamy.

Bellamys best moment (apart from the goals at utd)

He hasn't played at the highest level for 12 months and the game could have passed him by now week in week out.

That's not to say he can't be an asset for Liverpool and I see him being used as an impact player off the bench more often than not but even 60 minutes of what will be required of him for 30 games before he is subbed will prove difficult for him now.

We shall see and naturally some of my City bias wants to see him fail miserably at Liverpool ( LOL) but I do think he will struggle to make the impact at Liverpool that he did with us which many of us think was nothing special in a side that finished midtable in his only full season with us while Liverpool expect to be serious challengers for the chumps league this season.

Re: Bellamy takes 50 per cent pay cut

Look Bellamy was never that great he just tries and good for him and the charity work he does but this should not be used to judge his character. People are talking about him being well respected and how Liverpool are taking him back he was free they would be dumb not to. Doesnt change the fact he is a ****. Doesnt change the fact he caused trouble when Hughes left and tried to get other players to revolt. Doesnt change the fact he shit talked the managers tactics. Doesnt change the fact that he had SEMI - DECENT season and was laughing with Twitcher when we didnt get CL football. Doesnt change the fact that he slagging the club off while we paid his wages at his boyhood club. Doesnt change the fact he used his charity as an excuse for not leaving when its simply he wants the money. He was doing this charity work when on £25000 a week. I am not very forgiving to players who dont help themselves. Like I said good for him for doing something while most do nothing but that doesnt make him "Mr Untouchable". He has major character flaws which pop up everwhere he goes and he hardly lit the lower leagues alight last season did he?.

Re: Bellamy takes 50 per cent pay cut

funny how he wouldnt take a pay cut to go to a less attractive team but when the "big boys" call its a case of fuck the starving africans

think of the kids craig you selfish ****
