City are prepared to pay up Bellamy's contract and let him speak to Liverpool.
What, all of it? Why don't we have him play in the reserves then? Madness.

Agree 100% - i know at times his attitude off the pitch was questionable, but he never gave less than his all when wearing a City shirt.... Good luck Bellers (But not against City)MCC said:Bellamy was quality for us. He fell out with Mancini and was history ever since. Always gave his best, scored goals and created them. He has no possibility of playing at City with Mancini at the helm. I back Mancini but wish Bellamy all the best.

That's my fear as well. We have set ourselves up as a charity rather than a business by the looks of it!
I'm all for giving Bellamy a free transfer... if that means the contract is cancelled. But if it means we're ALSO paying him off, that's madness.
Same for Adebayor. Loan him out by all means, but not if it costs us money. However, I am more confident that the Adebayor deal will see us paying none of Ade's wages. Or so it's been claimed.
I did say at the start of this transfer window that Bellamy was only ever going to go on a free, that talk of us getting £4m was fanciful.
I just hope the club haven't created an image where we "give away" all the players out of favour. At some point we have to make a stand and get some money in!
No he won't.C_T_I_D said:If he wants a pay off, make him train with the under 18's. He'll soon change his mind.
