Certainly dont think moomba ia a Rag, has different opinions and quite interesting views which are good for debate. Those that lower themselves to insults are either sad or frustrated.
Makes a good forun ;)

I don't agree with most of what Moomba posts, but calling him a rag is just underhand and sly.

I said paraphrased, sorry, should have said re-phrased.

Fair enough, thought you were talking about earlier in the thread when it was used about Bellamy. Anyway, you made Billy feel all warm and fuzzy so that has to be a good thing.

As to the point, I am 100% confident because that is the sort of person he obviously is. He's been slagged all through his career and it hasn't effected him one bit. To be honest, it is the one endearing part of his character, and I said it not as an insult (hence the comment that neither should he give a shit about what I say).

But my point is you have judged his character mainly from tabloid bullshit. Yes he's a journeyman and probably makes it easy for the press, but apart from the Risse incident he's not doneanything apart from piss the media darling Shearer off.

Found not guilty about the nightclub incident (just a whore trying to make money), bullshit made up about what he did in Leonnne, he did one wrong things after pissing off the man who makes a Sam Allardice interview interesting.

Where I developed my dislike of Bellamy was nothing to do with tabloid bullshit. It was how he acted on the field, the berating on linesmen when he mistimed another run, the screaming at the referee which would get instant condemnation on here if it was Rooney doing it, it was the diving and the cheating and the snarling and the general arrogant way he carried himself on the field.

The off field stuff was just grist to the mill.

I had a tenner on him for 1st goal ,so he'll do for me ( last time i managed this niall quinn scored it! ).judging by the Q at the digibet stall after the game i wasn't the only one either

Is he not even starting to grow on you a little bit? :)

Is there anything he could do to win you over?

Leave.

The thing with Bellamy, is that (rightly or wrongly) he has been the player I've liked least for nearly a decade. Much less than any rag (I've always said that he was made for the rags), and I've thought less of clubs that have had him playing for them. I'm not just going to turn around and embrace him because he is wearing a blue shirt, good luck to those that can but it's just not the way I go about things.
