Bellerin is best in the world for me at the mo. Those saying maffeo can step up, really? Not slightly blue tinted? Anyway hope you're right. Angelino always struck me as the better player and I don't think he has the standard to succeed at city. Hope I'm wrong.

Hype. Personally I see a technically mediocre and positionally poor full back who has a decent eye for a cross and pace to burn going forward. He makes some good runs as well tbf, but for all his potential he's not in the top 5 right backs in the league atm, except maybe on very recent form.

Pace can mask an awful lot of deficiencies in a footballer.

City could do worse than have a look at the RB at Nantes,think its Mustapha Caraylou?,but watched him on the box and he was brilliant.

He'll beat all of those bar Zaba and Ivanovic I'd say when he's finished his career and you can measure peak against peak but right now he's a raw kid making multiple mistakes every game.

Disagree mate. Darmian, Rangel? Please. There's only Sagna this season who has matched Bellerin. If you're going off names then of course zaba and ivanovic are more experienced and respected but neither of them have been as good as Bellerin this season and Bellerin was arguably better than zab last season too, obviously because of Zab's injuries of late.

Disagree mate. Darmian, Rangel? Please. There's only Sagna this season who has matched Bellerin. If you're going off names then of course zaba and ivanovic are more experienced and respected but neither of them have been as good as Bellerin this season and Bellerin was arguably better than zab last season too, obviously because of Zab's injuries of late.
You do know there's more to a full backs game then sprinting forward and hammering crosses in right? Any of the full backs I've named eat him alive defensively and all bar Darmian and Sagna match or better his output going forward. He's getting plenty of hype at the moment because he's had about 15 decent games (and one brilliant one against Bayern before getting his arse handed to him on a plate in Germany) out of his grand total of 40 or so senior games in an in form Arsenal team. You need to look at the bigger games he's played in and how he's coped when his team have been on the back foot and he's had to do the less enjoyable parts of his role, because he's handled them like any raw kid - badly.
He has potential, yes. But this best full back in the league/world shite? He'll do very, very well to reach the levels at his peak that an aged Lahm is still capable of on his off days and both Zaba and Ivanovic have matched Lahm consistently in the recent past.
