Bellers is Incredible, as player and a gentleman - Good Luck

I think he had the choice of a few clubs but was happy to go to his hometown club to be closer to his family. Refreshing and commendable.

In the interview shown on SKY he is very complimentary about Cook and Khaldoon

I would if they were paying me almost £5M a year to do whatever I wanted.

-- Tue Aug 17, 2010 10:34 pm --

Met him with my son last year and he was brilliant, an absolute Gent.

Just confirmed it again today with his press conference. Also like his attitude that he wants to be at home and do something for his home town club. Compare that with other players who would have been looking for a big pay day and insisting on staying in the Prem.

Top guy Bellers. Wish you the very best for the future.

P.S. Towards the end of last season I was putting banner designs on here and thinking of splashing a load of cash on one. Held off when I thought he might go so bloomin glad I saved the dosh. Remember this (couldn't see a Cardiff fan buying it off me) :-

His interview today was first class, fair play to him for being so gracious. Scratching the surface though it was a very different tone to his appalling interview last week. Maybe a 2 weeks wages fine and the fact that at the very least we are paying a contribution to his wages at Cardiff had something to do with it? Either way I wish him luck and hope he does well with them this season.

A contribution? And some!

Basically we've just given him a testimonial and had it written in the contract that he doesn't slag the club off... Or play for Spurs.

Not a bad deal for him really.

But he was awesome for us esp at the beginning of last season and I think we, and the rest of football got to see him at his very best. Good luck Bellers!

Somehow don't think we've seen the last of him though...

Can't help but wonder if he'll be so complimentary about the mangement at City in his autobiography if he ever writes one.

Yep! We're going to pay him £75 thousand a week for the next 9 months and he says nice things about us! What a guy...

that is all

Just saw the interview on SSN. He was all sweetness and light but who cares - I loved him at City - hope he gives his all for his home town and that cardiff fans get something to cheer about.

I really enjoyed it till that fat twat Neville Southall put his wooden spoon in - talk about letting yourself go - he'd give Fat Sam a run for his money.
