It would have been interesting to see what he would have said if he had been sold and we weren't still paying the majority of his wages. I watched the press conference and it just looked like saying very nice things about City (repeatedly) was part of the deal. I suppose fair play that he stuck to it but all I can think on the subject is that if he had "bitten his tongue" all along like he did yesterday, then he would still be playing for us which would have been nice, considering he is a very decent player and that we are still paying for him to play football.
