Benidorm November Fancy Dress festival

Ok, I accept it's not everyone's cup of tea, and is probably a bit like Marmite, but I wondered how many of us BlueMooners have been to, or, better still, planning to attend the 2023 fancy dress festival.

For the uninitiated, this is Europe's biggest fancy dress party, dominated by Brits, and will this year be held on Thursday November 16th (45,000+ last year).

It's always a ballache booking flights etc a full 12 months in advance, as the law of sod says that we'll be playing the rags or dippers on the very weekend immediately after the event.

Anyroad, it's an absolute belter (just ask Ricky Hatton).

Given that Benidorm doesn't (yet) have a dedicated City pub, all those attending should plan a day there where we can takeover and make it a City pub for the day - be it the fancy dress day or otherwise.

We're there 14th to 18th.

Went last year for a mates 50th....one of the best lads holidays ive been on.
The day of the fancy dress it was 30Deg,
Its better if you do the fancy dress.
We are going again this year.

Aye mate.
We were there n all.
Walked down to the strip around noon.
Was walking in the shade due to being suited and booted.
Was sweating cobs when we got to main square!
