Get the feeling Pep maybe has had enough of his antics off the pitch and has shelved him ?
I think Pep is more pissed with His injury’s than his social media activity. Hopefully when he’s back fit he will listen to the managers advice a little bit more than before the injury, Zinchenko has and look at how much he has progressed this season.

Biggest waste of 50 million (with hindsight of course)

I think to be fair this is a high impact sport where players need to put in major physical effort week in week out for nearly all of the year. To be honest, the surprise to me is that more players don't get injured. What they are doing is not normal and its a tribute to the strength and conditioning they do that they can keep going.

Its one thing to buy a player who turns out to be crap. its quite another when you buy a player that gets injured. It happens in every club. With most players its the odd injury here and there; with some its more serious injuries that they just cant fully recover from. Happened with Hargreaves at United, Michael Owen, Jonathan Woodgate. its part of sport, and what we aren't seeing or discussing is the state a lot of them are left in when they finish football.

Quote from Damien Duff recently, who had a good long career and never missed a season like Mendy did:
"There's a screw in there to keep my left knee together, there's no tendon in my right foot. I can barely kick a ball with my left foot. When I wake up in the morning, I can barely move my left knee. It's the price you pay, I guess."

Footballers will get injured. That's part of the game, and I would never see money spent on Mendy being a waste, because if its not him then its Silva or De Bruyne - its going to happen.

Mendy has a knee injury. Really hope he gets back, but fully fit and fully strong, not half fit and making himself worse.
