Hopefully that is the case as the alternative is that he is probably a perma-crock.

Harsh.A trophy every 6 appearances for club and country in the last 2 years. He'll get injured again next season too, one of the worst signings in our history.

Really do hope he can stay fit. Gundogan has shown that it is possible after a nasty knee injury - his ACL injury seems like a thing of the past now (touch wood).
An ACL year can be a 2 year injury especially if it doesn't heal properly. We'll see. He's been a disappointment so far but that's down to injuries. He'll either get over them or he won't, nothing we can do now but far behind him and hope for the best.
