He had a few iffy moments in the first half but he was better in the second half.

One has nothing to do with the other, we will have seen his weaknesses ant decided we could iron them out, forget last season going off this he has played about 10 games and is getting better and more disciplined, today was a much better performance.

Agreed, and I'm always all for giving someone at least a full season. At times he's been totally unplayable given his style, if he can get down some of the basics he could be great.

But currently he just seems so different to a "Pep player" stylistically it's harder to see that transition than with others we've signed. E.g. Bernardo who was quiet for some time, but was obviously suited to how we want to play down to a tee.

Edit: And to clarify I don't actually think he had a bad game today, my comments are just a generalisation on the guy as a player from what we've seen so far this season.
