Laporte and Ederson made absolute howlers in the first half to give Arsenal two open goals. They got away with it. Mendy and Walker made mistakes and got punished.

Every player had a shit game and lots made mistakes. Mendy is not the reason we lost that game. Nor is walker.

The thing with Walker is that he's never reached his potential with us (although a lot of trophies) because Pep's frightened of him going past the halfway line because of the counter-attack.

We need someone who can do that Abidal kind of job so Walker can go forward and put in some decent balls because Mendy isn't good enough to do either role. Whoever scouted him needs a long hard look at themselves.
