Going forward but the first injury against Palace was down to getting himself in a pickle defensively and trying to block the winger with his leg, it was too early to judge.

very sad all round this situation, glad he's been cleared. Wasnt his biggest fan, but the poor lad must have endured a torrid last couple of years, all on the back of lies. Far too easy to make these allegations these days

As far as his career, he was apparently on £90,000 a week. I dont think he's had to shop through the reduced section at Lidl to survive.

The bad toothed fucker deserves a beating for his intrusive and invasive behaviour on the steps of the court.

Mendy made him look a proper shallow, insensitive, small time **** !!

The evidence against Mendy was pitiful. Whoever agreed to the retrial should be fired.

Sadly the CPS are politically motivated these days. They do not act impartially, instead they prosecute by trend.

Harrasing a bloke just found not guilty of accusations that ruined his life despite a statement from him asking for privacy....

I think he should be sacked just for being a shit reporter alone, but his behaviour with Mendy deserves additional punishment.
