Personally, I felt that this was the only likely outcome as soon as the first charge was disproven and dropped. Enough to sow doubt into the minds of the jury. Mendy's lawyer even said something along the lines of 'see, this is proof that women do lie about these things'.
Standout to me is that all of the not guilty verdicts were unanimous, which really does suggest that it's more than just getting away with it because of a lack of evidence.
