Think that's how we'll approach pre-season anyway. Stone, Kompany and Otamendi as a back 3, with Sterling and Sane doing the leg work out wide:

Well yeah, but you'd rather go into pre-season getting used to the system that we're going to be playing all season. Because let's be honest, we don't have enough CBs to play 3 at the back regularly either. It is annoying how long this is taking after such a good start to the transfer window. This is what is keeping me sane at the moment, we were so fucked in the full back positions last year that any fullbacks with a bit of pace who can stay fit will be an improvement.

To be honest there is so much stuff flying about its almost random which journalists pick up the right information and get it out first, some it sticks not sure anyone of them is better than another. But what Lee puts out is treated as though its gospel. Yet he had no idea on Silva just like the rest, most of what he is saying we could all guess at. Where Castle just because he is Mourinho's mouthpeice is dismissed.

Time is not on our side here. Monaco are quite happy to keep him. It's not like they are suddenly going to reduce their demands. They'll quite happily wait until we're desperate and then increase the price.
