I studied it after I read that lol, and didnt see anyone that could have been Mendy. So I guess we can can choose to believe that thwy deleted it cus they f*cked up :)A few people mentioned earlier in the thread they thought they'd seen Mendy at the CFA in the background of a Snapchat story. Has anyone got a screen shot of this?
I think Mendy will be ideal for us. Fast as fuck, 6'1, strong, and delivers an unbelievable cross. Can't remember seeing a full back with a better cross. We've been saying for years if you combine the best attributes of Kolarov and Clichy you'd have a world class full back, Mendy looks like exactly that player.

Is he a left sided Micah Richards with crossing ability? Or is he more complete and can actually defend too?

He improved a lot on the defensive aspect,
thanks to this improvement(the french coach Deschamps emphasized on this point ), he is the new left back starter for France if he can improve a bit his focus he is a top 5 worldwide

He's no worse then what we are used to & at least he's big & fast, which gives him an extra get out of jail card.

What do you mean by being good at defending? It's pretty broad. He seems good at 1v1, he makes a lot of interceptions and he's physical enough to not get bullied.
his positioning is the area that seems to need work but he's going to be coached by a guy who is obsessed with positional play so I assume he will improve there.
