as Damo said. But even if the above was true, for people to think we sign players without considering others and looking at doing deals for them is just absurd. Our signings are made after a very thorough process and are made because they're the best fit for a number of reasons, and want to come, aren't going elsewhere etc.

On a side note, signing what everyone considers the best crosser of a ball in Europe for £39m, and people are worried about money. It's staggering how much City spending annoys people yet these were the same morons on here winging about Clichy and Kolarov for years.

There's a certain category of people who can't sleep at night without having a good moan for half the day. If we sign Messi tomorrow, there will be a few here complaining that he is short and not physical enough to survive in the prem. Absolute jokers.
