I honestly don't understand why people care about transfer fees. Obviously if season ticket prices were going up exponentially to cover it that would be different, but they're not. Sit back and enjoy the player next season rather than fretting about the fee.
Going to leave many drooling next season and a guaranteed few saying he was a bargain, our team was screaming for the kind of players we're purchasing, I for one couldn't care less about the fees, especially when we factor in sales, or for eg getting any fee for kolarov is a gift.

Neither a flapper, nor a wummer, and not particularly concerned about the fee, as Mendy was generally considered to be one of the best left backs in the CL last season.

However, the Brighton game is only three weeks away, and he still hasn't arrived. In fact, we’re not even sure if he’s fully fir.

We’ve already got a new goalkeeper and a new right back, and once more we find ourselves hoping that our best defender doesn’t break down. That doesn’t leave much time for defensive preparation, which unless I’m mistaken, was our biggest weakness last season.

So it’s onwards and upwards, with fingers crossed that everything eventually sorts itself out. Not so much hitting the ground running, as trying to find somewhere to land.

Not exactly arsenal away, but I get your point, think Brighton away was a nice enough start for whatever team we field that day.

Didn't know he wasn't a full fir but he does spruce himself up pretty much

Our owner and his management team have been financially sound from day 1 by applying a correct business plan to running a football club rather than accepting that running a football club is a special case.

Why should City accept what others decide is value for money, they know this business inside out and are expanding the Clubs profitability year on year which is the real reason why the media as the voice of the traditional PL membership for some reason exaggerates then criticises our player purchases.

Their fear of our owners business acumen strangely appears to be critical of the costs we incur not what we do with that cost. Surely excess cost should decrease profits should it not ?

Sometimes I wonder if some on ere who go on about fees are more worried about what their rag mates, other fans or the ragdippermedia are going to say and have no balls to stand up to the petty shite these twats come out with after we as fans and a club have endured for over 36 years. One even to say theyre embarassed ffs. Do we think the rags, Real, Barca Bayern (to an extent) et al feel embarassed when the trophies are hauled in? Were at the top table so we pay top table monies. I couldnt give a fuck what other fans or rag media think I wont City to reach the very pinnacle and if that pisses off the arseragdipper and media then spend spend spend! Theyve held us back long enough with thier snide tactics and backstabbing. And as much as PSG are beimg made out to be the enemy by what they may spend I say power to them. Rub into UEFAs faces. They tried to close the door but we blasted through. Cant wait for the season to start!

If we have money, we spend it. Who gives a damn.

Exactly. The money side should just be left to the people spending it. Us fans can't comprehend 50 million pound transactions within the real world. All we can do is look at the player and ask if he improves us. The answer looks like a resounding Yes!
