Yes Sandro is better, he's pretty much complete. Mendy is 3-4 years younger, still a little raw, and has some more learning/developing to do. Buying Mendy is like when we bought Sane imo. Tons of talent, highly rated and as everything to succeed just still young. However, Mendy is more experienced than Sane, he's a year or so older, has over 100 Ligue 1 appearances (starting most of those games); I don't think Sane has 75 top flight appearances. Can't go wrong with either Mendy or Sandro, one is just more of a project. Sandro would cost more but he's actually not for sale now, he's signing a new deal with Juve (according to Italian sources) who rejected a €70m bid for him from Chelsea...

Not flapping but more p*ssed off with how Txiki goes back and forth with incremental bids p*ssing about when he was one of our primary targets, leaving the door slightly ajar for Chelsea. I don't think Sandro is attainable without a silly bid so if this one goes tits up its a disaster. It's not a what will be scenario but more a case of Txiki bringing on a potential mammoth cock up with his approach.
