Hopefully this could end up a stellar window but things we have to learn from ie the Alves affair TRUST NO ONE I am sure he left juve for us, and his desire to play for him was intended but instead of putting Bernard on plane to paris ,to sign a few papers, we entrusted him to turn up two weeks later with his wedding ring and "i love PEP Hat in hand Why were we so behind the door with two so called hot shots at the helm

So what were we supposed to do when he stated he wanted PSG? Things change, we roll and get on with it

Stop flapping. It's July and he's completed three deals, one of which is Walker - the Walkerwho everyone said wouldn't join until just before midnight on the last night of the window and at a sky high price. So swiftly just about does it,I'd say. And as for that concern about Bakayoko there's absolutely nothing anyone other than Mendy can do about it if that's the way Mendy'ss mind works - but how d you suggest Txiki closes the deal? And don't give me all that crap about "just paying the fookin' money" because you don't know what the asking price is, Txiki doesn't and Monaco won't tell anyone because they have to be persuaded to sell

Wonder how long it will take for Txiki to make a follow-up bid. Clearly the only thing missing is £5m between the clubs, which could be ironed out before the day ends.

Its been a belting day for the flappers and twas all quietening down then "Boom" we have been tapping up Mbappe, and they all pissed their knickers again :)

That said. 6m-7m for Kolarov who is nearly 32 years old and only has 1 year left is a pretty good deal. Better sell him to make way for another CB. Rather than lose him on a free.

Surely gold if he leaves with a fee as long as we have a replacement in the bag. But selling him in preseason without signing a LB means 1) we're without any potantial LBs and Ferna plays there which doesn't look promising for a team aiming to win trophies and 2) Monaco and every other club sees the opportunity to raise their price even more.

Can someone tell me if we are the only team in preseason without a single LB?

Yeah tomorrow would be great if Danilo was announced and it's reported Monaco have agreed a fee for Mendy from MCFC...
