Yeah this doesn't sound good.
Issues with Benjamin Pavard in the France camp
Bayern Munich's Benjamin Pavard was heavily criticized by Deschamps, which triggered a change in attitude.
During the opening match against Australia, Deschamps criticized him for his play, as did some teammates, and only Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud showed their support for the full-back.
From then on, everything went wrong. According to journalist Romain Molina, Pavard was no longer the same person and created a toxic atmosphere within the dressing room, and he is now being accused of leaking information to the press because of his great relationship with them.
Things didn't stop there. During the final, the defender reportedly criticized his teammates several times, which created unrest on the bench and tested Deschamps' patience, who reproached him for his behavior.
The coaching staff were said to be very disappointed with his attitude. The player didn't show the spirit and desire that is needed at a World Cup and, if Deschamps continues in his position, it's unlikely he'll wear the French shirt again.
Txiki and Pep will research all this imo and Pep will back himself if he wants him to keep him in line. Do we think Pavard gets regular game time though?
