Are you honestly suggesting that we'd do something because it's easy and convenient as opposed to what's best for the club? I have to ask...How much is it that Pep wants and likes him and how much is that this is an easy and convenient transfer?

Fuck Timber...would have liked timber here if Kyle is leaving FWIW. another byproduct of the whole "let us know if you're leaving late in the window" policy.
It's about acting like Pep and Txiki don't know a good player from a shit player.
Yeah looks that way.Yes I don’t think Pavard is the only RB we could be signing. But it seems we are saving the money to spend big on replacing another name, doesn’t it?
TMIEderson > all the rest.
All good mate we are all getting there eventually but hopefully he doesn’t turn out to be Benjamin Pervert ;)God I'm getting old. Took me like a minute to piece this together. :)
Gvardiol/Gomez/Lewis/Pavard can all play up and down full back if needed, doubt they will though. Pep loves the extra body to let the front 5 try things more.

I'll make my mind up when ive seen him play half a season, until then I trust Pep and Co ;-)which way are you leaning then?
Yeah, i'd like a wide player in I think, regardless of Mahrez going.True but where that extra body comes from has changed constantly over the years because we have to be able to adapt when others adapt to us.
I guess it also depends on what happens further down the wings. My main concern would be that we continue to lose width and teams start to totally congest central areas.

Hey, nothing wrong with throwing out an opinion. It's what BM is all about. But when you throw out opinions you have to expect blowback from people who don't agree. Even if its snappy, sarcastic, an attempt at humor, etc. For me as long as it doesn't cross the line of being disrespectful such as calling people names, telling them to fuck off, etc. Otherwise its all good. From time to time someone gets the idea to cross that line and then I'll flip the switch and it'll get pretty vile pretty quick. The mod has had to interject 2 or 3 times, LOL...That's not really the case though. I can have an opinion on a player and accept that I might be entirely wrong further down the line. It's happened plenty of times and will no doubt happen again.
People should be able to talk about potential signings without it turning into a dick measuring contest.

Won't be the last either! The OP now probably wishing he'd thought before posting nonsense ):
I'm saying he's not a fairly large downgrade to any FB on the planet in response to you saying he's a fairly large downgrade to Walker, not that you said it. Does that clarify my position?Hold on. Who called him a poor player? Who called him a downgrade on every full back on the planet?
Some of you need to learn to handle differences of opinion better.
