Pavard seems like a good replacement for Walker imo. Obviously dont have Walkers pace (no one does) but 6 years younger, loads of experience and proven at the highest level being a WC, CL and 4x Bundesliga winner, versatile, fits our system and is available for a low fee since his contract is expiring next summer. Not a signing I will be ecstatic about (like Gvardiol) but we could do a lot worse. Not exactly an abundance of world class potential RBs on the market right now so in my opinion Pavard would do just fine.

That’s not why I posted the article. I posted to say there was rumors of interest from Bailey back in April. I do believe Romano’s heard it recently and in context to Walker’s departure

I think experience is a big driver in this. World Cup and Bundesliga winner, experience of big club standards. Losing Walker and Gundogan in the same window demands this.

If it happens I'm predicting a Danilo-level of performance and contribution. Not outstanding, but solid enough. More than capable.
