Benjamin Pavard

I think it’s more likely, as you’ve said, that Walker offers Tuchel something Pavard can’t and we see something in Pavard that we can use in our system.

I think thats exactly it mate and although a shame, Both Kyle and ourselves have benefitted each other brilliantly for 6 years and he`s been a huge success here.

But he wants to leave and we need fresh heads so we can keep being hungry.
Maybe he wants to leave if his current club wouldn’t meet his demands. I’d give Walker a 2 year deal if that’s all it would take to keep Bayern away. Pavard has some good qualities but Walker is the best in the world at what he does best.

You cannot just carelessly lose such a player. People forget how our defense broke down and lost to Real Madrid with about 5 minutes to go two years ago when Walker got injured. On the way to the UCL finals, Kyle was very key in nullifying the best wide attackers. If I’m letting him go, I’d be pushing to sign a certain caliber of players and Benjamin Pavard is not in that bracket.

Think this guy got well lucky playing in a top french team and scoring a banger in world cup finals
He’s a very good player. Issues is his injury record. Akanji Ake and Stones got fixed by City though.

He’s basically the potential of Aké on the right side. Lacking the pace of Walker, but that is the major lacking, but no one got that

Do you think he would be motivated if he's not getting much game time?
I think he'd get plenty game time, though I was shocked when he wasn't in the starting XI in Istanbul. It's a squad game now, particularly when you're playing at the intensity Pep expects. Didn't De Bruyne miss a few games, not through injury, around the middle of the season?Foden was by no means an automatic pick, either. And Mahrez and Dias; all of them missed games throughout last season.

I may be wrong but I think those you mention missing games was because of form, not style of play. I think Kyle knows he has limitations in the way Pep wants him to play and that may be key to him thinking of going.

bit of both i think, he could have easily missed every knockout game in the CL if not for Ake's injury.

Cancelo and Walker to Davies and Pavard ?

Or could Cancelo end up staying and moving back to the RB replacing Walker maybe fighting it out with Pavard ?

How good is Pavard I would have thought very good given is track record and less reliant on pace than Walker he is also younger than Walker but seems people are not keen on the transfer.

Pavard was clocked as faster than Mane, Hudson-Odoi last season, not a slouch but he's no walker (who would be top in the Bundesliga by a distance)
