Benjamin Pavard

From a German website, allegedly - The 26-year-old, a veteran of the triumph in 2018 (World Cup), is accused of making inappropriate remarks about his teammates, creating a toxic atmosphere in the dressing room, arguing with Didier Deschamps and the coaching staff, and even leaking details to the press.
...reports said that the right-back was not trusted by his fellow players. Then there was the verbal spat with Paul Pogba, which happened in public. Meanwhile, while not directly related to the dressing room issues, Pavard did get busted for drunk-driving by the Munich police earlier in the year.
Not much differnce between Kyle Walker or Jack Grealish and we still signed them

General Webb ”… because the French haven't the nature for war. Their Gallic laziness combines with their Latinate voluptuousness with the result that they would rather eat and make love with their faces than fight.” (Last of the Mohicans)

Doesn’t quite sit with French heroism in World War One - 6 million casualties and almost 1.4 million dead.

Quality and athleticism shines regardless of age. This obsession to offer quality mature players plus cash for substandard "younger" players is deeply rooted in some childish Playstation football transfer market logic and I don't buy into it.
And yet Txiki does…hmm. Bizarre.

Not city level.

Cannot put a cross in.

Suspicious trouble maker history in the dressing room.

Defending so so.

I would rather to sign either a younger player with potential or a more skilled player with PL experience.

I don't see anything special from Pavard.
That's good because your not the manger

Pavard is very alike Aké but on the right, but Aké is much better, but the profiles are similar. He'd be very good here if he can kick his injuries a la stones, ake and akanji.
Ake is much better? Would you have said that 9 months ago?

He's 27, entering his prime years, and Bayern are willing to let him go. That's a red flag in my opinion. I'd be more than happy for Lewis to pick up Walker's minutes.
He is running down his contract. Bayern would prefer to keep him I expect. No red flag at all.
I think he'd get plenty game time, though I was shocked when he wasn't in the starting XI in Istanbul. It's a squad game now, particularly when you're playing at the intensity Pep expects. Didn't De Bruyne miss a few games, not through injury, around the middle of the season?Foden was by no means an automatic pick, either. And Mahrez and Dias; all of them missed games throughout last season.
Why would he get more game time this coming year when he is a year older and we are more comfortable with a formation that doesn’t suit him?

And Walker’s crosses are sublime right?

I didn't say "more" game time, I said "plenty". Please don't put words into my mouth.

In what world is Pavard valued at Walker +10m? If anything they should be offering us Pavard + 15m
I think it’s pretty simple. Walker is 33 and maybe has a couple of years left in him at the top level. Pavard is 27 and maybe has 5 to 7 years left in him.

It seems odd we are booting Cancelo out for attitude issues and we are seemingly interested in a player that allegedly has similar issues.
