Did you really just post that? Engage brain before you post next time! And that is a problem why?

I hold my hands up and say the only thing I remember of the few times I watched him was his screamer in the world cup a few years ago. I definitely trust in pep!An honest question? How often have you watched this guy play? How has he managed to be capped 49 times by France by age 27 and been a regular at Bayern for the last 4 years? He's a World Cup champion and a Champions League winner. I'm sorry but one doesn't reach those levels of success by being a poor player. I'm not saying this guy is Maldini and you may not fancy him for God knows why but you can't call him a fairly large downgrade to just about any FB on the planet and expect to be taken seriously. If Pep wants him here and believes he brings value then case closed...just sayin'...
BaitGood player. Good advanced data. Should be cheap. If he was in our squad and trying to leave you'd all be moaning about us losing depth. He's an upgrade on Walker as an asset.
It’s a player that suits our system well but he ain’t no Walker.I suspect it's correct :(
If there is one thing I've learnt from the bluemoon transfer forum, it is not to trust posters opinions of players ability, they are almost always wrong! We possibly are
So they get Walker for 15m and we pay 30m for Pavard? Interesting bit of businessI can see this happening, if he would cost £25m-£30m that deals City like.
Walker + 10m?
If Pavard weren't in his last year and refusing to sign an extension chances are he would not be available. I would go so far as to say they've moved for Walker partly because he'll sign a multi-year deal...So what now? Who in the market is the right profile that suits us and is actually attainable? We can only make 100m exceptions for cases like Gvardiol. And as you said, Walker is the one who refused and wants to go. What can we do other than replace him with what’s the best suited option on the market.
He doesn't want to stay.contract expiring at year end. French. Among others.
Walker is 33, Pavard 27.In what world is Pavard valued at Walker +10m? If anything they should be offering us Pavard + 15m
That 33 year old can still perform at the highest level for the next 3 years. Walker is like Dinho except more athletic. I'll have no problem keeping him for the next 3 or 4 seasonsWalker is 33, Pavard 27.
I did too. And I think Pavard would be an adequate replacementI told everyone Dias was going to be a fucking beast. Does that mean I'm allowed to say Pavard won't improve us at all?
In fact, with Walker on the way out, I'd say it's a fairly large downgrade.
Possibly in the world where Pavard is 6 years younger...In what world is Pavard valued at Walker +10m? If anything they should be offering us Pavard + 15m
Let Pep know...That 33 year old can still perform at the highest level for the next 3 years. Walker is like Dinho except more athletic. I'll have no problem keeping him for the next 3 or 4 seasons
If you give Pavard the same latitude, then he can still perform for 8 more years. That 33 year old can still perform at the highest level for the next 3 years. Walker is like Dinho except more athletic. I'll have no problem keeping him for the next 3 or 4 seasons
By that logic we should have offered Bernardo Silva + 40m to Chelsea for Mount. I mean his younger, right?Possibly in the world where Pavard is 6 years younger...
