benjani is shocking OUT or in?

Who cares ? Another pointless inane thread. He only played as there were no other fit strikers available. Out of contract in the summer or will go on a free in the jan window if anyone is interested.

Why not talk about another good performance under mancini, third clean sheet in a row, 4th win in a row despite playing a number of players who have not featured at all this season etc etc etc...

Mak, Nimely, Poole or Ball (still injured) to name just a few? All been playing well for the reserves. He hardly "won us the match". For most of it he spent it being clueless with his "play the ball into me lads, shit sorry it went 10 feet away from me" play. Took his finish well, but you can't polish over a turd performance with "BUT BUT HE SCORED!!!"
Playing well for the reserves does not mean they are better than established premiership strikers like Benjani who's skill putting the ball away won us the match yesterday. An example of a player that has played well in the reserves but cannot yet hack it in the first eleven is Vladimir Weiss - look at him yesterday - these players need time and while they are learning their trade the Benjani's of this world will carry on doing what they do best.
The FACT that he was unable to hold the ball up, despite countless chances, ment that we suffered from not being able to impose our play on Boro and allowed them much to much of the play. Yes he did take his one chance well, but his piss poor approach play ment that there were only a handful of chances for anyone, including himself.

When does it become acceptable on a football discussion forum to discuss an opinion that one of our players isn't good enough?

When he doesnt score a very important goal and was more than good enough in that particular game.

Therefore it must be some supporters get their adrenaline flowing by calling our players, again we need to introduce the 'Rotate the Hate' policy so everyone is happy.

this is the kind of thread we need!

we won again, kept a clean sheet and benji scored the ONLY fucking goal seeing us through to the next round, wot a shite thread. oh, and yes we all know that benjani doesn't have the quality to be a 1st team starter or even sub, i just don't see the need for a negative thread after today.
this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

the thread is wank fucking plank

100% shocking although he did what you want a striker to do and bagged yesterday but he's all round game is shite

So when he scores a goal we should cease to have opinions on the football club?

I don't hate Benjani, quite liked Vass, loved Dunne to name a few mentioned in this thread. I think we're best served having none of them at the club.

No it doesn't. You're very vocal about it all though. Probably just me being too defensive about the guys I paid to watch in those dark days.

Topics on Benjani wind me up because you get 50 posts about how he "SCORED AT THE SWAMP" "SCORED AGAINST THE RAGS" "TRUE CITY LEGEND" references in almost every post. Then you get people like mutley ranting, raving and calling his human rights abuse lawyers if you dare accuse a player of not being up to standard.

The only ranting and raving going on here is coming from you.

As I said, 90% of your posts ( and that's being generous) are concerned with slagging off whichever player is your hate figure of the month. You go on and on about it. It's pretty much all you ever say.

It is acceptable to criticise a player. But if that is virtually all you ever do, then obviously people are going to question what you are about. And in your case, I fully believe you would rather see the team lose than Benjani play well. It's been the same with other players in the past and will be in the future. Your negativity far exceeds your support.

Yeah, I'd love to see the team lose...stop talking out of your arse. The only rants here are from you. Boohoo I criticised Benjani, no need to cry, soft lad. Man the fuck up.

short memories you so called 'fans' have.

he should be paid £100,000 a week for life.

bow your heads in shame.
