benjani (who cares)

Anyone who thinks Benjani was lazy will hate Adebayor then once the gloss wears off.

I think his goals will more than make up for it (I don't think he's that lazy anyway)

Benjani goals were responsible for the two greatest City moments in the last couple of years (derby day and Schalke) so he deserves a little respect for that.

SAM ALLARDYCE SEEKS MAN CITY CAST-OFF
Blackburn target Benjani to solve striker crisis

01/08/2009
SAM ALLARDYCE aims to sign Manchester City striker Benjani.

The Blackburn boss is deperate to bring in TWO frontmen to replace Roque Santa Cruz, who moved to moneybags City in the summer for £17.5million. But he is growing frustrated after missing out on several of his targets.

Peter Crouch and Celta Vigo top scorer Kamel Ghilas are just two of the players who snubbed a move to Ewood Park. And with the season opener just two weeks away, Allardyce is now looking for a hitman with Premier League experience to bolster his strikeforce.
Cut-price

Kenwyne Jones is another name on Blackburn's list but, as Sunderland are unlikely to sell, the focus has switched to Benjani.

The Zimbabwe international is down the pecking order at City and boss Mark Hughes would allow him to head to Ewood Park for a cut-price fee.

Blackburn only have three strikers on their books - Benni McCarthy, Jason Roberts and Paul Gallagher.

if it's in the NOTW, it must be true.

well tell fat sam he aint for sale ... however much he offers ,rather give him to pompy than sell that winging c**t anything

Anyone who thinks Benjani was lazy is wrong. That's one thing you can't level at him.

Hopefully Blackburn will help us get rid of him. He's not training with the team since the squad came back from South Africa. He will leave for sure before the window closes.
