My old boss (who was the best I ever had) outside work was a JP from the Home Counties who was also a socialist, which is a bizarre mix, so It could have been both tbf.
I never realised that Kate O'Mara had such a cracking pair of legs, not that Peter Wyngarde would have noticed!I have the same problem....
