Bergkamp was slightly the more technically accomplished and oozed pure class with a great football brain. Henry was quicker and more prolific. What a tough choice.
It would be nice to think that in a few years we will be able to have this debate about some City legends who have helped the club win some serious silverware following the ADUG takeover.

bergkamp hands down, my favourite player of all time! quality player, and also i support holland internationally and he was my best player before he retired! THE NONE FLYING DUTCHMAN WAS THE GREATEST PLAYER THE PREM EVER SEEN!

i think on goals alone henry everytime,its nice to see lovely football and denis produced often but you dont win nowt unless the ball goes in the onion bag

There isn't a comparison, only a series of contrasts. Henry was a striker sublime, and not much else (not that you'd want much else!) Bergkamp, being Dutch, could have played anywhere, I'd even give him half a match in goal. Bergkamp, had he a touch more speed, might even have edged out Big Dave Ewing from my list of all time greats. If we are in the school playground, they're all lined up, eager to get on your team, 'cos you're Ferenc Puskas, first I'd choose Dutch Dennis.
