Bernard Halford

My son always tells the story of when he was in one of the endless queues we used to get for tickets, this time it was at the Etihad and it wound round the inside of the concourse.

Bernard just happened to be passing by and he spotted my son glaring in his direction, quick as a flash he blurted out "it's not my bloody fault".

That's really sad news because all of us that knew of him knew that he was as mad about city as we where, and a great servant to the club, RIP bernard.

When I lived on Alder Rd Failsworth, I saw Bernard on a daily basis as he walked his two little dogs, always let on and would have a natter especially on match days. A true gent and Blue R.I.P.
