Oscar was capped more times than Bernard by the time he moved to Stamford Bridge so Chelsea didn't have to fight too hard to sign him. Liverpool originally got rejected when signing Coutinho and had to wait until January, Lucas Leiva has already an Italian Passport so they had no troubles in signing the player.
