At Mineiro won their Copa Libertadores semi final last night so there won't be any resolution on Bernard's future until after the final at the end of July now I suspect.

Bernard scored the first goal through the keepers legs... But what a through pass from Ronaldinho!

I read some rumours regading Liverpool the other day.

Him and Coutinho could be absolutely lethal.

So what would they look like up front?

Coutinho-Aspas-Bernard

What a PL we are in for next season.

If the Liverpool thing is true we are missing out on a real talented midfielder who is up there with Thiago, Isco and Oscar.

That still isn't as good as having Suarez.

Not the first time though.. Nastasic is the only promising youngster City didn't miss out on.
The thing is we're "linked" with every one so it seems we miss out in loads.

It doesn't matter if City are linked with someone with or without any proof.

It would be even worse if missing is deliberate.

I just don't like that part of City transfer policy. Most of transfers are for established, expensive players and there's no young talents, nes that are set to be ready in year or two on the road... only some very young who are years away and who haven't really kicked it in City youth teams yet.

We can e a banter with Rags as much as we want but buying young players, even if overpaying for them is what made them successful. At least you get player for 10 years instead for 3-4 years when you buy player who is 26-27 or older. You get a "free" player on his peak when you renew his contract when he is 25. You spare a transfer fee and use it to pay for his new contract wages.

I still have a faith in Txiki to establish some scouting system but so far I can't see it.
