That said, she might be more mobile than some of our midfield these days

Time to head back to YouTube, TikTok and your gaming. Bernardo has been outstanding for years and is a constant top performer, especially recently, as he has been playing in a DM position to help bring the ball out of the back.

Bernardo is getting some stick here for going against the flow and speaking the truth the way he sees it, he has constantly shown that he is the one player who consistently has the balls to do what is right.

It's a bit RAWKish to hang him out to dry IMHO.

State of some of the comments. Absolute lack of football knowledge and self entitlement is beyond belief.

Bernado is a wonderfully gifted player. Never goes hiding and had given us absolute all for city. People also forgetting he won the penalty on Saturday by running in to the box and drawing the foul. Yes he doesn’t have any pace but he’s always ready for the ball and tries to keep it simple and for us to retain the ball. I’ve also read that he wants to leave every season. As far as I’m aware he’s never actually played up and tried to force a move. As pep has said and shown in the past that if a player really wants to go then he can go.

I’ve read on here that pep should go and that haaland is a bottle job and and that his hunger is gone.

Jesus wept that lack of appreciation shown to some of the greatest people to work for city is beyond comprehension and either people are just a bit upset by the weekend or they are really really entitled.

Some people need to be careful what they wish for. Trust me when pep leaves we are in for a torrid time. They guy has revolutionised city and football and now we’ve gone a season without winning anything people want him gone.

There’s a reason why no one has ever done four in a row and got 100 points and only united have done a treble. These boys have given everything time and time again.



Pep and players like bernado and walker and stones are part of all of that and the level of disrespect and shit slinging is embarrassing.

Love the fella but he's been far from outstanding this season, and wasn't that great last season.

Looks like he needs a proper rest but he's always flogged.

I'm not in the camp that we should get rid. He's only 30 and should have at least a couple of good years in him. I think he can get back to his best but he's been nowhere near it, but you could say that for most.

Love his attitude but he's been frustrating with the ball for a while, slowing things down too much

It’s the end of a bad season and on the back of a bad loss and a couple of games against much lower clubs where we seemed to be incapable of scoring or taking our chances he’s had something to say.

As one of the players asked to do the hard miles and some of the dirty work, he clearly feels he has a right to have a few words… and I’m sure it’ll elicit more!

He does not deserve the disrespect concerning his game. Say what you want about him speaking out, but it is an absolute joke to denigrate his game.

We need a bit of fight out there, just give us a performance that shows you still care about the shirt and I think we can all agree it’s been severely lacking at key moments this year.
But it’s not over yet, and so we must support as best we can, we do our bit and then it’s up to the lads to do theirs

Yes he doesn’t score as much as he probably should but the guy is like a Duracell bunny, if only half our squad ran as much as him this season we may have done better.

In this thread alone we’ve got people turning viciously on:
Bernardo. One of our greatest ever players.
Pep: not just our, but English football’s, best ever manager.
Haaland: a striker who in a “shit” season has still scored 30 goals.

You’ll see the same comments and sentiments in every season since the takeover. They hated Mancini for winning our first silverware in 35 years.
They called Pellegrini a corpse for winning the league and several cups.
And now they hate pep and our greatest ever generation.

Strangely though, mark hughes never got anything like this level of hatred off our own fans.

Anyway, I appreciate the more measured tone.

As one of the few who is never injured, and can play everywhere except Keeper, he has been flogged to death and has played up to 3 or 4 positions in the same game, as Pep knows he is a FOOTBALLER, not just a guy who can play “a position.”

He’s never been fast, but he is always making himself available, rarely loses possession, and has a little mean streak/shithousery in him.

I saw a blogger said he lost the ball 9 times and needs selling! This is where we are now…anyone with a computer can say any shit they want and create their own clickbait…AND SOME SUPPOSED FANS LAP IT UP!!

He’s been a brilliant servant, has scored some of the most important goals we have ever scored (2 against Real Madrid immediately spring to mind), and gives his all for the team.

Some of the “commentary” here begs belief!
