We all know he isn't racist but has to apologise... That's the very essence which triggers so many people. It's sending race relations backwards no doubts. How people can support that is beyond me.

He DID something racist.... Whathefuckever... The people who used the "N" in the other thread have 'behaved' in a racist way.

I can see why people have been saying just apologise - it's because we cannot win no matter what.

We're all playing this stupid game and we all know it.

The folk who run the podcasts want all of the attention and drama so they will squeeze out every last drop of “news” from anything surrounding City to gain “followers” for their output.
Regardless, the podcasts are run by a handful of blues who give their own opinions, they don’t speak for the players, the club or the fans.
 
Apologise for what? Hurting the fragile sensibilities of people who are incapable of analysis and choose to be offended, rather than apply context to a specific?
Court of law = no case to answer. Court of bias media and FA bias = death by hanging.

I decided to unsubscribe, they go chasing the quid they can fck off.
 
So the minority who deemed it to be a racist post have got their way again. The person who mattered in all this Mendy, took it all in his stride, but fuck that he's not important obviously. They will hit us with the heaviest punishment possible, because of pressure from kick it out and other groups. Disgraceful!.
 
Fucking hell Bernie, you could do without all this shit.

But nowhere in his tweet he mentioned anyone's race, color or origin and if they ban him for that, he has to sue FA for a libel.
 
He was obviously gonna get charged after the trial by media.
Now I get the first part of the charge, even though I don’t agree with it.
Though the second part E3(2) is just ridiculous.
It’s just their opinion, not fact, cos it didn’t happen.
Now you take Sky’s part in this charge.
Sky every 30 minutes showed the implied racist tweet, now if that tweet was so offensive why was they showing it over and over again every 30 minutes on live tv? Because it wasn’t racist.
Now for arguments sake let’s say Bernardo had tweeted and called Mendy a black whatever, would sky be repeating the words used by Bernardo on live tv? No they wouldn’t and they certainly wouldn’t be doing it every 30 minutes.
That tells you all you need to know.
 
He would not see any racist connotation in a cartoon character that is not considered racist in Portugal where he is from and is still used to advertise the product.
 
Maybe Bernardo just picked the wrong taste? ;-)

What if Bernardo thought Mendy looked sooo sweet as a boy
and simply compared it to his favourable sweets he has loved as a child? Without even thinking about skin colo
Btw, is it a racist product?

I hope he gets a 30k fine and voluntarily pays 300k for charity,
stating he is the opposite of a racist and using social media was a mistake.

Any ban would reveal FA's intentions, compared to other cases mentioned above.
In football terms, a symbolic 1 match ban would be normal rotation.
A longer ban would give us a mental advantage when we play lucky Liverpool.

To avoid future trouble, MCFC should strictly make clear that players have a responsibility how to handle public communication.
We want to be fantastic on and off the pitch, in any department.
