Bernardo's tweet was ill-judged, immature and risky in today's over-PC climate, but not racist, particularly as he and Mendy are good mates and it was taken in jest by Mendy.

I thought the players have to carry out media interviews as it's in some kind of contract between the premier league, the media and the club's?

By saying he referenced benny's race and colour they are calling him a racist,they won't say the word as they would get their arses sued but that is exactly what they are calling him,the fact he did neither doesn't matter,they have literally made that bit up as the media have forced them into action as they always do,this has Gill written all over it,we shouldn't accept the charge but i think as usual we will fold
