In all honesty, this will just blow over. Most people don't actually believe Bernardo had any racist intentions so I don't think he'll be labeled as one by fans.

They can't possibly be as dom says the media aren't pushing it and he can see no mention of a 6 match ban..Wow every fucking media has Bernie ban but no hacking news .
Agreed, the only people really keeping this going are journalists who are trying to show how strongly they feel against racism. The same journalists who fuel racism every day. Also, a handful of point scoring Liverpool and United fans, but on the whole mst fans have agreed it's been blown out of proportion.In all honesty, this will just blow over. Absolutely farcical this whole episode has been from start to finish - no matter whether people think he has been daft, that the club hasn't done enough, the media are on a witch hunt all you have to do is look at the situation as a whole to realise how bizarre this is.
A friend posted a lookalike of his friend on social media which now has a racist undercurrent to it. Where does this stop? Feels like unless it's a white comparison then it is offensive and shouldn't be done which pretty much defies everything Kick It Out have been fighting for in terms of everyone being equal.
If a ban comes back (I don't think it will be as severe as that) then the club, Bernie and Mendy need to step up and send this to a higher power.
