Fantastic read. Thanks for posting it. Hilarious to think of him naming his dog after Boulders. There was a great video on the OS a couple of months back, which showed him and his lady out walking the dog. He just looked so at peace.
Hear hear. Love Bernard, so unassuming and a great playerHe sounds happy, having a great season and hopefully both him and the team will be winning some trophies this season. Get that contract signed please Bernardo, would be gutted if he left.
Must be a good episodeI just told Margot Robbie to put her clothes back on and fuck off home. Corries on.
Could do without stuff like this popping up every week, either way it doesn’t sound great
It doesn't but how the hell the likes of Bernardo stay in Manchester and the UK in general is a testimony of their professionalism, totally understand the homesickness side of it.
Only for a certain period, this guy has already earned serious money for the last few years, there comes a point where money does not make you happy.im guessing £5 to £10m a year helps the pain.
And private jetting to Portugal anytime he has the opportunity probably helps toim guessing £5 to £10m a year helps the pain.
When ? He is playing ever 3 days and even his summer holiday have been destroyed! And private jetting to Portugal anytime he has the opportunity probably helps to

Or it's a reflection on the shitty weatherI can understand being homesick but if footballers are unable to create a happy life for themselves in the UK with all the advantages and opportunities they have it’s a reflection on them more than the Uk. Hundred of thousands choose to move to the UK every year and do just that, often without the finances to give them a head start.
Sorry but I am a Manc and the climate and environment used to get me down, so what a guy from the Mediterranean must feel is beyond me.I can understand being homesick but if footballers are unable to create a happy life for themselves in the UK with all the advantages and opportunities they have it’s a reflection on them more than the Uk.
