Goddamn PC brigade got to him no doubt.
is that a pc (politically correct) and a pc(personal computer ) sort of joke, a play on words if you like, very witty

anyway you two ****s stop tag teaming ,what with you two tag teaming and that loose cannon domi on the thread the fucking looneys could win this verbal joust

they get like that when they think they are losing, look at that cock claiming to have jumped into a brawl to save a black lad from drunken men on a tram

It wasn't a brawl. I stepped in, asked him if was ok, and lead him away and stood with him while we waited for the next tram. I honestly can't figure out why this is so difficult for you to believe.

hi, new day ,peace has broke out on this thread , lets have a virtual hand shake tiger xx

Like in the film East is East where an Asian character says "the pak*s are here"
“Paki” isn’t derogatory in Australia apparently. One of my Aussie colleagues had just signed up a British client with Pakistani dual nationality and said to him over the phone quite innocently “So we just need a copy of both your Brit and Paki passports and we’re all set”.

He couldn’t understand why everyone in the office within eat shot of the call went silent and was staring at him. A quick explanation after he came off the phone from the rest of us and he was back on the blower apologising to him. The client was very chilled and took no offence but it’s all about context I guess, Australia didn’t have the same issues in the 60’s and 70’s and Paki was never used in the pejorative, so for him, it was like saying Brit or Aussie.

This thread has plenty of loonies but no winners.
we all need to calm down, i was enjoying this thread(some right clever fuckers on it) until it started( as usual) to get a bit personal,

so if you want to admit you were wrong ,and call domi off we can all let bygones be bygones.

hows about it

No. Making a racist joke means you are someone who made a racist joke. That can be accidental or out of ignorance, or just poor judgement of where the line is.

Being a racist means you hold prejudicial or discriminatory beliefs about other races.

Think it through for 1 minute and you'll realise it makes sense. No one is accusing Bernardo of being racist, they're saying he made a racist joke, and part of the reason to apologise would be so people know you're not racist, you just accidentally overstepped and didn't realise it would be offensive.
You need to read what I actually wrote. I never said Bernardo was racist, and I never said he made a racist joke. What I did say was that someone who makes a racist joke IS racist.

Yes I can see what you've said, and it's wrong, which is why I wrote a comment explaining how I thought you were wrong.

Not sure I would see Aussie humour as a reliable benchmark to what is right and wrong
