Bernardo Silva

We are as an attractive as any a destination nowadays, certainly in England. If, as I suspect and hope, the rags miss out on top 4 again, there's no better place to be than City and that's without even mentioning the Pep factor. Only if Real Madrid and Barca get involved in the bidding are we likely to play second fiddle.

I'd say we wouldn't really consider it because we're not going to stockpile imo, and we're not going to spend that money to put one of him, Sterling or Sane on the bench on a regular basis.

Bernardo Silva would cost 40m+. You don't loan players you buy for that amount. As has been pointed out...Silva has 2 years left. I think we can fit 1 more AM to rotate with KDB and Silva. And lessen the burden on Silva.
Gundogan?

Gundogan?

Exactly. I don't know if we have a need for another attacking midfielder. Gundogan can play as the pivot too, and I think if Toure isn't getting an extension then someone to sit in front of the defence is the priority. Fabinho to be our right back/back up pivot while Ferna is our pivot/back up full back and Gundogan being used anywhere in the midfield.

Bernardo Silva would definitely be a good shout for replacing our Silva when the time comes to it. That time isn't now so revisit when Dave puts his feet up.

So you are saying get Mbappe instead. Nice. I like how you think :-)

I wouldn't get too attached to this one. Seems like a long shot to me. Apparently chelsea is willing to fire 70m at him. We willing to chunk 70 out of the estimated 200 for a player that isn't even a lock to start? Why would he do that either when he can slide right into the rags or chelsea immediately? If it happens, hell yes, but I'm not even considering it an option.

Start of the negociations : 80M€. Just to sit around a table. With every european team on it, it will be close to a 9 single digit number.

Gundogan?

I don't know Pep's plans. But considering Gundogan's injury record...i wouldn't be surprised if we signed another midfielder who can play either Silva's or KDB's role in a midfield 3. It would especially make sense, if that same player could also play on the wings (if we sell Nolito). Lemar/B.Silva/Isco fit that mold IMO.

Same reason i like Fabinho for the pivot role. He could compete with Ferrn for that spot, while also providing cover for RB.

Not sure for Lemar as a 10, but Silva and Isco can both play the 3. Tho i'm surprised you guys want to sign Isco. I think James fit more.
