There's no way the club lets him leave this late in the preparations for the new season given how integral he is to our game. I'd be ok with him leaving next summer and the money being used to bring Bellingham in, even if it would be reluctantly

One option is that we tweak the formation a bit and ensure Cucurella (provided we get him!) advances down the left, allowing Grealish infield a little and then KDB can get out to the right more often than he does currently.

When he joined he played on the right of the front 3 at first as far as i remember, it was Pep who moved him back.

Grealish is no8 all day for me but in our team his fitness would have to be considerably better than last season.

I think the problem is his preferred teams haven't come in for him, yet!

If Barcelona do manage to sell De Jong then they may still do, but if De Jong is worth €85m then Bernie is worth €100m minimum and it's doubtful that they will pay that, so i think he will end up staying.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave next summer though and that should coincide with us going all out for Bellingham and either him or Foden will take his place.

Just seems like his heart is set on a move, which stings, but is his right. Hopefully we can keep him for another year and go big next summer. It feels like it might be both his and Gundos last season with us.

Grealish is a tidy player but once again last evening we saw he cannot finish. It's just baffling that such a good player cannot at the key moment finish simple chances. Even the commentator last evening had announced that Grealish must score before Grealish proved that with him there is no such thing. On this basis alone he cannot be the player behind the striker missing anything that comes his way!

The problem with losing Bernardo is that we have a potential replacement in Bellingham but I can’t see Dortmund selling till next season. KDB, Gundogan, Foden, McAtee isn’t enough in creative midfield especially as KDB and Gundogan have had injury issues and Foden is our best left winger.

If Bernardo leaves I think we should look for a Gundogan replacement this summer, someone like Matheus Nunes. Have him bed in for a season and minimise the loss of Gundogan next summer.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Mendes has agreed a deal with Barca and is only waiting for them to get the funds. Wouldn’t even be surprised if he has planned to sell Nunes to us hence the move to Wolves hasn’t happened yet.

All the same Bernardo would be an incredible loss and would very possibly mean a transitional season ahead unless we were very lucky with a replacement.

I wouldn't. But I also wouldn't begrudge anyone who wants to swap a Star who wants to leave for a star who wants to come.
