Does seem like he is putting a bit more pressure on the club this time.

With 2 years left on his contract, I could quite easily see City proving him out of a move (by asking for market value).

Think he is wanting us to lower that price to around 40-50 million (assume we would want 70-80 million).

I can see Real being in for him (especially with Modric/ Kroos leaving (although hopefully they will pay the going rate), Barca cannot afford even the lower fee (although they might still find a way). A.Madrid as an outside chance. I can’t see us selling to PSG, Italian clubs I would be surprised if again they pay even the lower fee.

MacAllister could be a good option if we sell.

I'm not sure what is wrong with this latest one, or some of the others a couple of pages ago.

I'm happy with the life I have, it was a dream and I play in the best league in the world in high level for years.

He's not said owt different in this particular quote from even a few years back, the only new thing added is the word "never" but it's probably a spliced comment with missing context, it's the same old shit on a constant loop as the press can't help but have strange sexual fantasies, ones about our players being completely unhappy so they need to stir their pots, the ones already full to the brim of shite because they buy too much into that saying: (paraphrasing here) if you tell any story enough times even a lie it will eventually become the undeniable truth... In reality though he talked about Manchester's cloudy weather even four years ago so it's nowt new.


He may leave at the end of the season if we get the fee we want otherwise he's going nowhere fast, he's a committed consummate professional Bernardo who is probably giving honest answers, he'll also in the meantime regardless of whether he's totally happy or not... get on with it and give his all while here playing for us, hate to see mardarses in the comments on that twitter what a bunch of freaks, having a total meltdown it's embarrassing they really do need to get a grip.


This nowt story that has stated nowt new at all probably an interview in Portuguese where he honestly answered, this story no doubt had plenty of other questions but redshirt media has a proper hard-on for this exact quote bigtime, you can bet it's only right now being recycled through the media to try and undermine our current team spirit, there's no other objective to this it's a boring attempt to kick us while we're supposedly down.
 
His team should really have sorted a deal out for him at another club by now - as professional as he has been on the pitch, everyone knows he wants to move on. Weird that it's got to the stage of him dropping hints every window

It’s not the specific quotes so much, just the constant drip feed. We know he wants out, every big club in Europe knows he wants out. He doesn’t need to keep repeating it, unless the club are being unreasonable in their demands. As I said, it just needs resolving.
 
Bernardo has wanted out for two years but turns up for training with a professional attitude and matchday gives his best, which is all we ask. The club has done everything we ask, kept him here. Even Mendes his agent possibly wants him to stay and hasn’t pushed enough to get a move for him.

What’s not to like? Two years on and he is still here. He was linked with Barca in summer 2020 and since then we have won 2PL trophies with him. Mutual beneficiaries, club and player.

He will get his move eventually and another club will benefit from having his talent. City will move on and another player will replace him and win trophies with us.
 
Bored with it now starting to feel a bit yaya about him. Not sure his heart is even in it any more. Thanks for some good years but hopefully goes somewhere warmer at his next club.
if he doesn’t and goes to another premiership team then won’t be happy

I still havent seen anything where he has said he wants to leave. Im not saying he hasnt mind you, but I havent seen it. Anyone got links to stuff where he has?
