Bernardo Silva

I just don’t understand why we don’t swap de jong for Bernardo. Can do it in two separate transactions so both clubs get healthy cash flow on accounts. Just seems so obvious.

No chance we go anywhere near neymar imo and psg have just signed 2 cm in Ruiz and Sanches so can’t see them adding Bernardo.
Completely agree, it's a bad enough Bernardo is going to leave, but De Jong would soften the blow.

Neymar vs Premier league refs, he'll have more yellows and reds for diving than Sergio Ramos.

Neymar is a completely different player to Bernardo. To replace Bernie with Neymar would make zero sense. Much more likely we will target De Jong or Paqueta if Bernie leaves.

Bernie leaving is still highly unlikely in this window.

Because Grealish is that Bernardo replacement and Neymar will replace the position that Grealish left.

Seriously though Neymar would be a monstrous addition to this team on the wing. He would be both another target for our new system of "pack all the playmakers into the middle and ping balls behind for Haaland" and a supplier.

Neymar - Haaland - Foden

Gundo/Grealish - Rodri - KDB

Would be potentially the scariest midfield and attack assembled since Xavi-Busquets-Iniesta, Neymar-Suarez-Messi

It would also be hilarious seeing a sizeable part of the fanbase having to do a 180 and start liking him, and seeing him generally dispel some of the nonsense people come up with about him.

Oh god I want that. Immense.

Could make sense to sign a forward to replace Bernardo. After all, Grealish was supposed to play in midfield originally. I would prefer Nkunku to Neymar but he is not available this Summer.

I do think, could be called crazy for this opinion but I do believe Grealish would be one of the best midfielders in the league. He has everything you need to play as a midfielder skill wise
