IMO this is a very naive policy from the club.

80m is an unfathomably, stupidly low price for a player of Bernardo's stature.

If it were the other way round and he was on sale we'd be expected to pay 150m+ for that kind of player.

No he can’t because Grealish and Bernardo are different. The combo of Bernardo and KDB is only possible because of the high work rate of those two. Grealish doesn’t run/ work as much as the former two.

I just don’t understand why we don’t swap de jong for Bernardo. Can do it in two separate transactions so both clubs get healthy cash flow on accounts. Just seems so obvious.

No chance we go anywhere near neymar imo and psg have just signed 2 cm in Ruiz and Sanches so can’t see them adding Bernardo.

That would make too much sense, like leaving Haaland on to score a hattrick on Sunday, or buying a left back, or playing in white shorts every year.
