Welcome to the club mate, I'd be amazed if we're not in for this lad.Clearly you should pay more attention then.
He’s a brilliant player with loads of scope to improve in a good team, and Guardiola has been quoted numerous times over the past few years describing him as exceptional. The rumours were that we would like to bid for him this summer but wouldn’t be able to afford both him and Haaland in the same transfer window. That changes if Bernado were to leave.
He’s also four-plus years younger than Bernado, is English, knows the league already and can genuinely play at centre half as well, which would be very desirable given the injury problems which surround our players. He’s an expensive player because he’s very good, but he could play in our team for the next ten years.
He plays a different role at West Ham at the moment to the one Bernado plays for us, but Rice is probably the most mobile midfielder in the League and can easily play further forward. He has a totally different role to Bernardo. Absolute nonsense post. Any discussions of Rice ended the moment we signed Phillips.
Going to be too late now, Barca will bid with a few days left of the windowIt would be incredibly foolish and demonstrate poor business/football sense to not replace Bernardo if he goes. The squad doesn't have the depth at all and injuries would leave us massively exposed.
He stayed and applauded all 4 sides?Thought the reception he got today was mega. His acknowledgment was a little reserved. Didn’t fill me with confidence
I mean when he came on mate and we went straight to that water breakHe stayed and applauded all 4 sides?
I worry that he will go for under £60 million which would be scandalous as I just can’t see the fee being what we think it will be .It's clear he is going, and we have to accept it. Barca already activated the 4th lever, so they have the money (even if they are not going to make that great of an offer) and they have inscribed almost every player they have signed. Nothing we can do, and we should focus on signing someone. We'll be fine and as strong as ever.
